Competentum.ShareKnowledge is an e-Learning solution for academic and corporate training based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft SharePoint Learning Kit. The system enables creating of e-Learning courses, testing and monitoring students' progress. Competentum.ShareKnowledge supports any document formats including MS Office, Class Server and SCORM courses.

Competentum.ShareKnowledge uses SharePoint Learning ToolKit for content management and storing learning results. There are numerous web parts for user interface customization. User profiles are extended with additional characteristics applicable for saving assessment results. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 internal security engine is used for defining access permissions to learning objects. Windows Workflow Foundation tools are used to define the process of content development and publishing, personnel certification, event planning, and many others.

Competentum.ShareKnowledge provides the tools for quick and effective knowledge assessment:

• HR: employee's admission testing for evaluating candidate skills
• Instructor: assigned tests for knowledge assessment and training progress control
• Manager: certification for measuring employee's skills required for his/her position

Progress tracking information and knowledge assessment results are presented in numerous reports, including detailed tables in different forms and visual skills profiles.

• Competentum.ShareKnowledge supports entire organizational structure of the company. The system introduces role based organization model with departments, employee positions, and other business units. The solution provides tools for skills requirements management and quick creation of individual learning program.
• Competentum.ShareKnowledge provides tools for organization and delivery of learning content in a structured way, convenient to access and learn. The content structure corresponds to the skills required for company's personnel. Subject domains are stored in a tree-like directory.
• Subject directory provides the best visual presentation of skills and competences registered in the system. Optional themes are colored green. Subjects the student cannot access are inactive.
• Instructors can manage subject directory and content of the system, and define students' permissions to access content based on their department and position. Students can access content according to their curriculum.
