MailMerge Web parts for Windows Sharepoint Services V3.0 and MOSS 2007 allow you to merge Sharepoint list data into eMails.

Filter the connected list, select a stored HTML template and hit the button. An Email will be sent to everyone in the list, fully customized.The merge process edits the HTML text, so you are not limited to altering 'displayed' text. You could alter the image source of an image tag and embed a company's personal logo.

MailMerge web parts allow you to lift stored data from a list and apply it to either a Word document, eMail Message or even an SMS Message . These messages can be sent to specific people or groups of people at the touch of a button.
