SharePoint Unique Fields Feature
The SharePoint Unique Field Feature is a new SharePoint feature that enhances the capability of keeping trace of SharePoint list item unique values. With KWizCom SharePoint Unique Field Validation feature you can validate that your list items values will only appear once.
KWizCom SharePoint Unique Field Feature enables you to validate SharePoint lists and libraries items and prevent duplicate values in requested columns. After the Unique Fields Validation feature is activated, a new "Unique fields settings" hypeling is added to every list's administration page. In the settings page you can configure which fields in your list or library should include unique values. Once the columns are checked as "Unique Fields", each time a list item is added/updated the feature will verify that the updated list item does not contain values that already exist in these columns, in other list item.
If a duplicate value is found - an error message will be displayed, and the user will have to change the relevant field's value.
