The Password Expiration SharePoint Web Part allows Active Directory users to receive an email notification before their password expires, prompting users to change their password.

The Bamboo Password Expiration Web Part monitors your SharePoint users??? account expiration dates and sends out a notification email message before the account expiration date. A web part also can be installed in the portal login page where it will warn the user about the impending password expiration date. The IT administrator can also force the users to change their password within the grace period by re-directing them to a Password Change page (See our Password Change Web Part for self-service password change).
